About the Pantry

In obedience to God’s calling, to love our neighbor, Limestone Baptist Church has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank, to impact hunger and in June of 2013 opened the doors to Manna From On High Food Pantry.

Since opening the doors to MFOH we have also partnered with The Giving Garden to help with the distribution of their produce, when available. We welcome any of our neighbors who are among those struggling in this difficult economy to put food on the table. We are aware that it takes courage and humility to ask for help, we applaud anyone who takes this step. One of the goals of the pantry is to send families home with a supply of food. It is also our goal to make the experience of coming to MFOH a positive one.

Treating our neighbors with kindness and compassion is important at Limestone Baptist Church. Please note that the Food Pantry cannot deliver food or provide transportation.

  • How do I Qualify/Register?

Families in need may register the day food is picked up. All individuals will be eligible to receive food assistance. You may also qualify for additional food products through various USDA means-tested programs. These programs include SNAP (Food Stamps); FF (Families First); LP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program; or PH (documented residence in Public Housing). Families may also receive food products if their income falls at or below the income standard set by the USDA.

  • What is Supplied?

Limestone’s Manna From On High Food Pantry will stock a variety of nutritious foods including, canned goods, meats, and fresh produce when available.

  • Who runs the Food Pantry?

Manna From On High Food Pantry is run by Limestone Church Family. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Church Administrator at (615) 794-3037. We need assistance in collecting food, stocking shelves, helping with the registration process, and distributing the food.

  • How can I help? Donate/Contribute
